Both fairs are for professionals from the agriculture sector and the production and marketing of fruit and vegetable products. Josep Faura, manager of Mercabarna’s Central Fruit and Vegetable Market, took part in the day-long session devoted to the marketing of this speciality with the talk, “Trends at the Fruit and Vegetable Market”.

He discussed the evolution of the marketing of fruit and vegetable produce over the past 20 years and presented guidelines for the future in matters such as food safety, production and product presentation.
