From 22 to 24 September, Barcelona will play host to the new edition of Seafood, the international trade fair dedicated to fish-related products, held in the Catalan capital three years ago and this year taking place under the name Seafood Expo Southern Europe.

For the third year running, Mercabarna and the Fish Wholesaler's Association (GMP) will be at this trade fair, this time following the same approach used last time, with a shared institutional stand within the Catalonia-Prodeca space.

This stand will help to once again promote the "Fish from Mercabarna" brand, raise awareness about the great strengths of the cluster specialising in fish and seafood consisting of the around 80 companies from the sector located at the site and strengthen its export sales.

The trade fair will also be attended by ten fish companies from the Food Unit, which will strengthen the “Fish from Mercabarna” brand through their own stands.
