Meetings to settle and boost the participation of Mercabarna fish sector businesspeople in the first international fisheries trade fair Seafood Barcelona are continuing. The fair is due to be held in the city from 15 to 17 October.

On 8 May, the Mercabarna management, the Fish Wholesalers’ Association and two market businesses met at the food estate with the Director-General of Fisheries of the Government of Catalonia, the head of Prodeca and the assistant managing director and sales manager of Alimentaria Exhibitions (responsible for the fair’s organisation, together with the group Diversified Business Communications) to discuss the needs of sector businesses interested in participating in the fair, at which Mercabarna and the Association will also be present.
