The new chair, dedicated to retail trade for more than 40 years, has fruit and vegetable stands at two municipal markets in Barcelona and is the head of the Association of Municipal Markets of Catalonia and the Catalan Association of Agricultural Producers and Traders.

Mr Mora says the main challenges facing the Association include continuing to improve member services, boosting consumption at fruit and vegetable shops, integrating immigrants into the fruit and vegetable trade network and working together with all the sectors to guarantee the good operation of the Fruit and Vegetable Central Market.
