The Central Fruit and Vegetable Market firm Capdevila e Hijos hosted a promotional event run on 8 March by Saladmaster, a company that markets kitchen utensils to prepare fruit and vegetables in a healthier way.

The firm promoted a new cooking system which prevents vegetables from losing their health-giving properties during the boiling process. As part of the event, there was a raffle for a machine that can cut fruit and vegetables easily and in different shapes.
