Representatives of the national beef pricing board, which includes Mercolleida, the Talavera de la Reina meat exchange and Mercabarna, paid tribute to Víctor Trigueros, who recently retired from the Mercabarna Slaughterhouse management team after 21 years, thanking him for his collaboration with and contribution to the price-setting board over the years.

The event took place in Lleida on 25 January, at one of the meetings the board members assemble for during the year, as the weekly meetings to set beef prices are usually held by videoconference.
Mr Trigueros received the award from the mayor of Lleida, Àngel Ros, and was accompanied by the Mercabarna managing director, Montserrat Gil de Bernabé.
