The companies (Frutas Escandell, Hermanos Fernández López, Laumont, Grupo Diego Martínez and Kopfsalat Trade) will set up stands in the area that Catalonia-Prodeca has reserved in IFEMA’s Pavilion 7. Other Mercabarna businesses will take part separately, in Pavilion 9.
Fruit Attraction has become a meeting point for the fruit and vegetable production and distribution sector in Spain since it was started by FEPEX and IFEMA three years ago. It drew over 13,000 visitors in 2010, 15% of them from abroad. To continue to attract visitors from other countries, the organisation is putting particular emphasis on inviting businesspeople from potential markets such as Eastern Europe and Russia to this year’s event.
