Mercabarna and the Barcelona and Province Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers Business Association (AGEM) will be present at the next Fruit Logistica fair to be held in Berlin from 9 to 11 February.

The Fair, which numerous Market businesses have been participating in for years, is considered Europe’s most important in the fruit and vegetable sector. In 2010 it drew over 2,000 exhibitors and around 50,000 professional visitors from 180 countries.

This year, Mercabarna and the AGEM have decided to have their own area within the Fair to promote the Food Unit’s fruit and vegetable sector, particularly among purchasers from France and Italy, and the rest of Europe as well. The stand will be located in pavilion 8.2, within the Catalunya-Prodeca area.
