At the end of May, Mercabarna’s management published its Financial and Activity Report 2009.

This publication lists all the most notable activities that have occurred over the year, as well as trading volumes in the different markets and activity sectors within the precinct, and includes the company's financial results. For the first time, this year the book includes a new introductory section explaining the Strategic Plan of the food companies' cluster that Mercabarna is drawing up, and also outlines the principal axes upon which the future strategy of this Food Unit will be based.
