On 21^st and 22^nd September, an institutional and business delegation from the Lebanon, headed up by the Minister for Industry of the Government of that Country, visited Mercabarna in order to establish trade contacts with its meat sector. Promoted by Prodeca and Anafric, during the visit the Lebanese delegation visited the slaughterhouse and held meetings with several meat companies.

Similarly, on 6th October the President and a group of Ministers from the Council of the city of Timisoara (Romania) came to see how Mercabarna works. They are currently studying the option of constructing a Food Unit in that town.
