Mercabarna and the Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers' Association (AGEM) are cooperating on the organization of reverse trade missions to bring potential customers from other European countries to the Central Fruit and Vegetable Market.

The idea is for these potential buyers (importers, large-scale distributors, wholesalers, etc.) to find out about the Market, how it works, what products are sold there, what types of companies there are and what services they can offer, among other aspects.

Three missions of this type took place in the months of September and October. One from England, made up of ten companies who are potential buyers from the Market; another consisting of six Polish firms; and finally eight wholesale companies from the wholesale market of the city of Turin (Italy).
