The car park of the Makro warehouse, located next to the Mercabarna precinct, has been a fee-paying facility since mid-January. Users who park there have to pick up a ticket and validate it when they leave. Parking will be free of charge for all users of Makro’s services (petrol station, restaurant, garage and so on) or those who are parked for less than 90 minutes. By implementing this measure, Makro intends to curtail the problem of non-customers using this self-service centre’s car park.
