First, the South Korean delegation, formed by the management of this country's main wholesale market, wanted to find out about Mercabarna's experience in the application of environmental and mobility policies, as they are currently drawing up a project to modernise their market.

Then, on 2nd July, Milan City Council's Trade Commission and the manager of the city's wholesale market visited the Food Unit to exchange viewpoints with Mercabarna's management on the future challenges facing the Milan and Barcelona food sites. During their stay in the city, the Milan delegation also met with those responsible for trade, municipal markets and tourism in Barcelona.

Finally, on 16th July, Mercabarna received a visit from a delegation of mayors and municipal heads of nine Columbian cities who wanted to get to know how the commercial activity is carried out in the market, so as to improve aspects of food distribution in their own country.
