End of the Tenth Anniversary of the '5-a-Day' Campaign

But if one event has stood out this year, that has been the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the '5-a-day' campaign with a huge party that drew close to 2,000 people. This get-together also served to present the new campaign materials for the coming year which have been renewed after ten years, to adapt them to the preferences of children today.
This year the other activities run parallel to the visit were also warmly received, such as the “Buck Up” game and the Aucas Competition (an auca is a kind of comic) which enable the children to work on the '5-a-day' message in class. Proof of its success is the fact that 45 works were entered in the Aucas Competition this year.
Likewise, the '5-a-day' website (www.5aldia.es) has once again become a useful tool for interaction with the schools and the participating children. Throughout the year the web portal has received a total of 63,000 visits, a figure that almost matches that of the previous school year.
