Over 1000 professionals are expected to attend this conference, including, amongst many others, scientists, producers, and representatives of livestock organisations, universities and institutions. The event is organised by the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs (MARM). Under the title of "Biodiversity and Sustainable Animal Production Systems", it will address issues concerning the profitability of cattle farms, animal welfare, and quality and traceability in food production, etc. Mercabarna will not only collaborate in this professional event, but will also serve fruit brochettes to those attending.
