Mercabarna Present at Different Professional and Academic Events
On 14 May, Pablo Vilanova, Mercabarna’s head of Studies and Development, spoke about traceability in wholesale fresh produce distribution at the FoodTrack seminar on food safety, quality and nutrition. That same day, Georgina Cepas, head of Environment and Cleanliness, discussed Mercabarna’s waste management system at the Hispack packaging trade fair, forming part of the technical day-session, “Containers, Packing Crates and Wooden Pallets: a Competitive Solution”. On 15 May, Joaquim Ros, Mercabarna’s director of Markets and Promotion, gave two presentations at different academic forums, the first as part of the “Technical Commercial Advisors” training course organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, and the second, jointly with Pablo Vilanova, as part of the post-graduate Law course on food quality and safety run by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
