Jesús Láez, manager of the Mercabarna-flor Wholesale Business Owners Association (AEM), left his position last February, after having been involved with the Association since the beginning of 2000.

During this time, Láez has stood out especially for his conciliatory demeanour, which was key at times such as the years following the fire at the Central Flower Market and when negotiating conditions for transferring wholesalers to the new Mercabarna-flor market.
