The Training Area wishes to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the students who take occupational training courses to learn trades such as fishmongery, butchery, floristry, etc.

For this reason, on 2 March, the Area organised a conference with the Barcelona Municipal Markets Institute to inform these students about the work opportunities that these centres provide and the requirements that must be met to open a food stall.

Along the same lines, the Area is working with the fish and fruit and vegetable retailers to schedule different activities within the occupational training courses, aimed at providing incentives for opening new businesses.
