Coinciding with the celebration of its centenary, the Santboiana Agricultural Cooperative has remodelled its stall in the Central Fruit and Vegetable Market. Work has consisted in restructuring the space and installing a new cold room. “This activity has been carried out with the support of the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park and has enabled us to have a more modern and attractive stall, which will make us more competitive,” stated the President of the Cooperative, Lluís Solans.

These improvements were presented at a ceremony with Montserrat Gil de Bernabé, Managing Director of Mercabarna; Rosa Maria Berrio, Councillor for Agriculture on Sant Boi Council; Ramon Terricabras, Manager of the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park; and Josep Montasell, Director of the Agricultural Park. The cooperative currently has 125 members and trades in local products from the area such as artichokes, cabbages, lettuces, etc.
