On 1 April, the Mercabarna Training Area will organise an instructive session to provide information to companies in the Food Unit on the services offered to them in matters of food safety, with the Observatory of Food Safety and the School of Prevention and Integral Safety and Security.

Soon Mercabarna will sign a collaboration agreement with the Autonomous University of Barcelona Foundation which manages these two organisations. In accordance with this agreement, Mercabarna companies will receive advice on food product conservation, the use of additives and other topics related to food safety, and also an interesting offer for training in matters of food technology, legal regulations in the handling of foods, cleaning, disinfection, etc.

To enable companies to benefit from a more detailed understanding of all the advantages available to them, the Training Area will present the informative session in two parts: in the first, from 10am to 1pm, the businessmen and businesswomen will learn how to make the most of this collaboration agreement. In the second, in the afternoon from 4pm to 8pm, and aimed at food safety technicians from the various companies, the seminars and courses being carried out will be looked at in more depth.
