Surveys to Improve Mercabarna Services
The surveys address training, communication, waste-management and other matters. Participants are asked, for example, how often they use the Green Point, whether they visit the Mercabarna website on a regular basis and what sort of timetable they would prefer for taking products to the Food Bank warehouse.
Support for the Unemployed
What is singular about this initiative is that the people who conduct the surveys are unemployed and currently taking part in an Employment Plan promoted by the Catalan government in joint collaboration with Barcelona City Council through Barcelona Activa (a municipal agency devoted to promoting employment and quality businesses), and in which Mercabarna takes part.
