The visit was part of the programme of cultural activities the association offers members, enabling them to acquaint themselves with emblematic buildings and activities not usually open to the general public.

The visitors explored the new facilities of Mercabarna-flor, showing keen interest in the building’s architectural aspects and the workings of the new Market. In addition, they took part in a floral workshop organised by Mercabarna and taught by the Rosa Valls-Formació school, where they had the opportunity of finding out more about the special characteristics of the season’s plants and flowers.

The organisation intends to make further visits to Mercabarna-flor in February and March.
