Summer University Mercabarna about agri-food sustainability

From 2nd to 6th July, Mercabarna has organised the first edition of the Summer University, a meeting place for entrepreneurs in the food sector, the professional sector, the University world and research teams to promote knowledge transfer and networking.

The focus this year has been on sustainability in the food chain for a more sustainable food supply. This first edition had the support of the Barcelona School of Agriculture Engineering - UPC and the AECOC.

The programme has offered: 

  • Up-to-date knowledge on the challenges of the agri-food sector. 
  • A practical vision from industry professionals. 
  • An exchange of knowledge between pre-professionals and professionals in the sector. 
  • Practical learning.
